Nitsch Foundation
The Nitsch Foundation was set up in 2009 with the aim of promoting the significance of the artist Hermann Nitsch and his endeavour to synthesise the arts, seeking to convey key ideas and their realisation to a broader public.
This objective is to be achieved primarily by raising awareness for the intellectual superstructure of his work, publishing relevant literature and editions, organising exhibitions and lecture series, undertaking archival and documentation tasks as well as compiling a catalogue raisonné.
The ongoing and joint pursuit of these tasks represents the leitmotif of the Nitsch Foundation.
